Lord You ~ prayer

As in Psalm 27:8, Lord, my heart has heard You say, "seek My Face...come and talk with Me" and my heart responds, Lord, Your face I will seek.

I come seeking You Lord, and Your strength...I will seek your face continually.  (I Chronicles 16:11 & Psalms 105:4.

Lord, I ask and thank You that Your face shines upon me...you are so gracious to me!

Lift up Your countenance on me and give me peace. (Numbers 6:25-26)

Make Your face shine upon me and teach me Your statutes (Psalms 119:135)

Thank You Lord, that You have poured out Your Spirit upon me and You will not hide Your face from me any longer. (Ezekiel 39:29)

Thank You that I have been made righteous through the blood of Jesus and Your eyes are toward me and open to my cry.  Your hand is also not short that You cannot save, nor is Your ear dull that You cannot hear. (Isaiah 59:1)

Thank You that Your eyes are on our land from the beginning even to the end of the year!  (Deuteronomy 11:12)

Your eyes Lord, go to and fro throughout the earth to show Yourself strong on my behalf as my heart is toward You.  (2 Chronicles 16:9)

Your eyes are in every place watching evil and good and I cry out to You for justice.  (Psalms 15:3)

I have a covenant with You, Father and I know You will not break Your covenant, nor alter or change what has gone forth out of Your lips.  (Psalms 89:34)

You judge and decide with fairness for the afflicted of the earth.  (Isaiah 11:4)

Father, You have sworn by Yourself and the Word has gone forth from Your mouth in righteousness and it will not turn back - that to You every knee will bow and every tongue will swear allegiance to You. (Isaiah 45:23)

Thank You that with everlasting compassion You have redeemed us and Your face is not hidden from us.  (Isaiah 54:8)

You Lord, do not abhor or despise the afflicted, but You hear and answer our cries for help and You are our very present help in trouble.  (Psalms 22:24, Psalms 46:1)

Thank You Lord, that Your favor surrounds me as a shield and Your faithfulness will always protect me!  (Psalms 5:12)

Confession ~ Answered Prayer

In the name of Jesus, I declare that I have a blood-bought right to answered prayer. The Word of God is my guarantee. Father, by prayer, supplication and with thanksgiving, I can make my requests known to You. You hear the prayer of the righteous and answer them. Your eyes are on me and Your ears are open to hear my prayers.

I am connected to Christ Jesus, and I am anointed. In everything I do I am more than a conqueror. Because I abide in You, and Your Word abides in me, I see the manifestation of answered prayer.

When I speak Your Word, it does not return without accomplishing what it was sent to do.

Lord, I thank You that I walk in favor with man and with You. Wherever I go and whatever I do, Your favor goes before me. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much. Therefore, I believe I receive what I pray for right now. In Jesus' name, Amen!

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2 Timothy 1:7

•  Fear isn’t just a reaction to external circumstances. It’s a spiritual force. It begins inside of you.

• Fear is totally destructive. In fact, fear is Satan’s primary weapon.

• God moves in response to faith...fear causes the devil to respond. 

• The devil also challenges the promises of God with fear.  An excellent example of this is found in Matthew 14 when Jesus invited Peter to come to Him on the water.   “But when he [Peter] saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me” (verse 30). What enabled Peter to walk on the water?  His faith in the Word of Jesus.  What caused Peter to sink? He saw the wind boisterous and he was afraid. It wasn’t the wind that defeated him, it was his fear of it!  He looked at his circumstances, gave in to the fear, and the result was defeat.  If Peter had kept his focus on Jesus, his faith would never have wavered.  All the blustering and blowing in the world couldn’t have drawn him off course. 

• Faith is developed by meditating on God’s Word.

• Fear is developed by meditating on Satan’s lies. Such fearful meditation is called “worrying.”   Don’t do it! 

• The Word of God is the sword of the Spirit. Use it to fight Satan every time he comes against you. Hold up your shield of faith and quench all of his fiery darts.

• Speak words of faith and fear will depart.
